Assuming you have eliminated the spills using a dry cloth, now here are the steps to clean your mattress.

Step 1

Sprinkle baking soda on the area of the mattress that you want to clean. The baking soda will absorb the moisture on the area applied.

Step 2

Mix the dishwashing liquid soap with water and spray on the area of the mattress that you want to clean. Leave the spray for some few minutes, say 10 mins, then come and clean with some cold water.

Step 3

Apply some baking soda and leave it for another five minutes. The baking soda absorbs the urine that is still left in the mattress.

Step 4

After leaving for some few minutes, as in step 3, you can now wipe clean the mattress with a vacuum cleaner.

Step 5

Add some few drops of essential oils to eliminate any foul smell that may still be in existence. The essential oils will leave your bed with a fresh taste and fragrance that comforts.
